Meeting God -

God created you full of value and worth - God loves you and created you to know Him personally.

The Bible says -

Psalm 139:13-14"You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb."

God loves you -

John 3:16"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not

perish but have eternal life."

God's purpose for you -

John 10:10 Christ speaking, says, "My purpose is to give life in all its fullness."

What keeps us from knowing God in a personal way?

We cannot know God because we are separated from him by our sinfulness.

Romans 3:23"For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard."

God created man to walk and talk with him, to have a personal relationship with him.  But, by our own choices and self-will, we have

chosen to go our own way and thus broke our relationship with God.

Isaiah 59:2"But there is a problem - your sins have cut you off from God."

Romans 6:23"For the wages of sin is death..."

The Solution - Jesus Christ is God's only solution for our sins.

He died for you and me-

Romans 5:8"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

He rose from the dead -

I Corinthians 15:3-6"…Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.  He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the

third day, as the Scriptures said.  He was seen by Peter and then by the twelve apostles. 

After that, he was seen by  more than five hundred of his followers…"

He is the one and only way to God the Father-

John 14:6"Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one can come to the Father except through me."

Head knowledge won't do it, you have to have heart knowledge too!. 

You have to have a personal relationship with God and experience His love.

We must believe and receive-by faith -

John 1:12"But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God."

Ephesians 2:8-9"God saved you by his special favor when you believed.  And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift fro God. 

Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so non of us can boast about it."

You have been invited- join Him!

Revelation 3:20"Look! I stand at the door and knock.  If you hear me calling and open the door, I will come in, and

we will share a meal as friends."

You become born again -

When we receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior we…

*  Recognize your need for Jesus Christ
*  Turn to Christ and turn away from self (repentance)
*  Trust Jesus Christ to come into our hearts and lives, forgive our sins, and make us what He wants us to be.

You can receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior right now!

Pray…

Dear Jesus,

I need You.  I need your forgiveness.  Thank you for dying on the cross in my place for my sins.  I believe in you, Jesus. 

I open my heart, mind and soul and receive You as my Lord and Savior.  Thank you for forgiving me of my sins and giving me eternal life with you. 

Please take control of my life and make me the kind of person You want me to be.

Thank god that Jesus Christ is in your life and that He will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). 

You have eternal life from the moment that you prayed and received him.
